Back to School season, awesome events, fundraisers, and more await our community this September! We’re here to keep you updated, entertained, and engaged (with a healthy amount of balloon humour as always).

BACK TO SCHOOL WITH BBYQR

Friendraiser 2025 -

Illuminating Impact 

When: August 14, 2025

Where: Conexus Arts Centre, Regina

Friendraiser 2025 pulled out all the stops! With s’more stations, stellar speeches, artist engagement stations, and about 100 charities, this day of community connection was the highlight of the month!

Retirement Party

When: August 2025

Where: Queensbury Convention Centre

Last month, an influential member of Yorkton’s Tribal Council celebrated his retirement from the organization. We can’t think of a better reason for a HUGE balloon garland! The Yorkton Tribal Council is a non-profit dedicated to providing support and services to 6 Member Nations in Treaty 4 Territory. It was an honour to celebrate with them!

UPCOMING EVENTS

The Gift of Giving Gala

When: September 20, 2025

Where: Conexus Arts Centre, Regina

Gatsby, a gala, AND a great cause? We’re in! The Gift of Giving Gala—now in its 2nd year—is hosting a Gatsby themed fundraiser this month to support mental health initiatives for youth! Tickets get you into a night of food (a full plated dinner may we add), drinks, entertainment, awesome balloons (courtesy of yours truly), and more!

The Globe Theatre’s 60th Anniversary & Re-Opening Gala

When: September 12-14, 2025

Where: Globe Theatre, Regina

After a huge renovation project, the Globe Theatre is pulling out all the stops for its full re-opening and kick-off of its 60th anniversary season! With tours, entertainment, classes, drag shows, and so much more, you don’t want to miss this one! Plus, they’re hosting “Regina’s Met Gala” on September 12th. Run, don’t walk!

The Globe and BBYQR have shockingly similar brand colour palettes. Coincidence? Maybe. Sign to collaborate? Absolutely.

The Safe Cafe & Catering - 2375 College Avenue, Regina, SK


The Safe might just be Regina’s coolest new spot! Powered by Street Culture Project, this cafe is dedicated to sustainability, employing/mentoring local youth, and giving back to the community! 100% of their profits go back to Street Culture Project, meaning they go straight to supporting our city’s underserved youth!
