July is reset time

And yes, by that we mean watching the Legally Blonde series.

If June is our Mount Everest, July is when we take in the views! After a crazy month of grads, Pride events, and fundraisers, this month is all about resetting. Keep scrolling for our June highlights, Tanna’s best find during a Toronto work trip, and community shoutouts!

A+ for E-Series

For the past few months, BBYQR’s owner/co-founder, Tanna, has been participating in The Forum’s E-Series Growth program. This was an awesome opportunity to talk about scaling and strategy with other small to mid-sized business owners across the country. The program culminated in a Closing Celebration in Toronto!

One of our youngest party people is growing up! Our awesome Operations Team Member, Taylor, celebrated her grad last month. We were stoked to bring the good vibes (balloon style!)

The Caring Conference

Where: Darke Hall & The Cultivator

The 2nd annual Caring Conference (presented by the Saskatchewan Community Foundation) gathers non-profits and community-minded professionals to talk about how we can - you guessed it - care more. The event included exciting keynotes, inspiring breakout sessions, and a rapid fire pitch where winning non-profits walk away with funding for their next projects! Congrats to the SCEP Centre on their grand prize win!

CARE CON 2026 RECAP

Where: Confederation Park

If you’ve followed BBYQR for the past couple of years, you know we never turn down a Roughrider Installation! This year, we had a blast inflating around Confederation Park (even if it meant that Tanna failed to measure the height of the lift correctly. Shoutout to the REAL District employee who saved the day!)

SCEP CENTRE - A Socialization, Communication, and Education Program for Young Children and their Families in and around Regina

The winner of CareCon’s pitch competition couldn’t be more well-deserving! SCEP’s mission is “provide a safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed environment where preschool-aged children with complex needs can heal, grow, and thrive.” Their exceptional staff works toward this mission everyday, and we’re grateful for all they do in our community!
