The 2026 Paragon Awards celebrated excellence in business and excellence in fringe! The Regina and District Chamber of Commerce's annual Paragon Awards recognize the businesses and organizations that shape Regina’s economic success through leadership, innovation, and community impact. As a proud local business ourselves, Balloon Bar YQR was stoked to "set the stage" for this event!

Award Winning Monochromatic Masterpiece

We always love a strong colour palette. Why be neutral when we can be BOLD! And this is no exception. Monochrome wine orbs mixed with sangria latex balloons with the burgundy fringe gave major texture. The result? A bold, creative backdrop that matched the upscale-yet-fun vibes of the awards banquet. The red lighting was a beautiful cherry on top!

Fancy Fringe

Everyone knows fringe is fun, but for this event, we also made them classy. Adding extra texture and a dash of over-the-top flair elevated the fringe from "fun party backdrop" to "gala ready"! They were the perfect touch for the celebratory tone of the Paragon Awards!

Award Winning Local Businesses

So many great businesses were nominated for the Paragon Awards this year. Being a small business can be challenging. We were so excited to be able to help celebrate our local small business friends by recognizing their hard work by seeing them on stage accepting their awards!

We love celebrating good people doing great things, and this one is extra special.

A huge congratulations to Sticks and Doodles for taking home the Community Involvement Award at the Paragon Awards. They were up against some incredible businesses, including RaiseHER and MicroAge Regina, and we couldn't be happier to see them recognized.

If you've ever met Kyle and Danielle, this award won't surprise you. They've built their business around making people smile—Kyle even calls himself a "Happiness Maker."

Over the years, they've donated tens of thousands of ornaments, signs, and pieces of artwork throughout our community. From partnering with Wilfred Walker and the Hospitals of Regina Foundation to brighten Christmas for people spending the holidays in the hospital, to sponsoring the Mental Health Run, to creating employment opportunities through Creative Options Regina, giving back has always been part of who they are.

They started their business in their basement, and now they've grown into a beautiful shop in Regina's east end. We were lucky enough to create the balloon installations for their grand opening, so it's been pretty special watching their journey. from making awards to winning them. They have come full circle.

Congratulations to Kyle, Danielle, and the entire award winning Sticks and Doodles team. This recognition is so well deserved, and we can't wait to see what you do next.
