Frozen at The Globe Theatre with Frost Regina

Over 5,000 audience members, 12 sold-out shows, a multiple-week extension, and countless Olaf-sized smiles? We can't think of a better excuse for an Arendelle-inspired balloon installation! The Globe Theatre's smash-hit winter 2026 production of Frozen wowed audiences, and we were thrilled to start the magic in the foyer. This install featured "show-stopping" mosaic letters, icicle-inspired starbursts, and a colour palette fit for royalty.
Inside the Install Details
Frozen was one of the Globe's longest running shows in history, and it was definitely our longest running balloon installation! We maintained this install through the show's multi-month winter run. Hey, the cold never bothered us anyway... :)

Frost Downtown Hub
The Globe Theatre was an official part of Regina's Frost Festival, helping fulfill the mission of making "winter come to life" in our snowy city! Along with watching the magic on stage, there were cozy spaces to warm up with hot chocolate and cookies, and the chance to get your very own Elsa braid with hair stations by Salon Society!
Frost Festival is Regina's premier annual winter festival. It takes place for three weekends in February all across the city, turning Regina into a playground of ice, lights and entertainment. Events include outdoor skating, brewery crawls, local art, live music and so much more. This year, The Globe Theatre partnered with Frost as an indoor hub.
Behind the Scenes Frozen Magic
The Globe Theatre supplied us with some beautiful cutouts to include in our creations. We included graphic designs from the Globe's show and from the iconic Disney movie (check out our buddy, Olaf!), creating a cohesive balloon world!

Jennifer Fuller
Jennifer is currently BBYQR's Shop Lead and Client Experience Manager. She has a Business Degree from the University of Regina, majoring in Marketing. She's passionate about community engagement, local business, and innovative marketing. She's also an incredible improvisor! Both stage and at Balloon Bar, she thinks on her feet and values creative decision-making.
