August Highlights

South Saskatchewan Community Friend-Raiser

When:  August 22, 2024

Where: Conexus Arts Centre

The South Saskatchewan Community Foundation is a staple in our province, and we're always so proud to work with them! This event brought together over 100 charities and was dedicated to discussing and addressing Saskatchewan's most urgent community needs. These conversations were punctuated by great food, entertainment, and stellar balloon decor (if we do say so ourselves)!

This install featured a trademark organic archway with floral accents. These archways are an incredible way to frame a space and create a sense of grandeur in any colour palette.

Buddies Over Bullies Fun Run

When:  August 18, 2024

Where:  Emerald Park

Our friends at Legacy Martial Arts and Fitness hosted their first Buddies Over Bullies Fun Run in support of creating a bully-free future. Did we run? Perhaps not. But did we build a killer fringe archway to run through? Abso-frickin-lutely.

Looking Ahead

Walk a Mile in Their Shoes

When:  September 19, 2024

Where:  kikaskihtânaw Centre

This event presented by Avana is one of our annual favourites (and supports one of the causes we're most passionate about!) Supporters are asked to step into a pair of red shoes and walk to raise awareness for gender-based violence. Check out some of our favourite memories from last year (featuring a custom organic archway ) and get involved at the link below!

Cultivator Startup Summit

When:  September 11-12 2024

Where:  Cultivator, Regina

Leave it to Cultivator to bring the business networking event of the season right here to Regina! In this annual two-day summit, founders, entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors come together to connect, discuss, and innovate. This summit is definitely worth celebrating, and we look forward to starting this start-up party again this year!

Community, Always.

Prairie Harm Reduction

Our fearless leader, Tanna Dietrich, is a balloon expert AND huge advocate for harm reduction. As a former Probation Officer and current Addictions Counsellor, she's passionate about initiatives that protect vulnerable members of our community. Prairie Harm Reduction is an exceptional organization that offers safe consumptions sites, educational programming, and other services to create a safer community. (They also sell super cool t-shirts.)

August 31 was International Overdose Awareness Day. We remember those who have lost to overdose, and we are committed to being part of a future that is kinder to those struggling.
